Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-08-06

TacTic500 is a daily fantasy-style game played over the S&P 500: you build a lineup of stocks, call Buy or Sell on each, and your entry is scored on official session prices from the opening bell to the close. By creating an account or entering a contest you agree to these terms.

The game

Contests are games of skill scored deterministically from official exchange prices. An entry, once submitted, is in the contest - entries can be edited until the contest locks (9:30 ET) but cannot be withdrawn or deleted. Lineups are sealed from other players until lock. Scoring, ranking and prizes follow the contest rules shown before entry; settlement is final once results are finalised, except where a manual correction is required to fix a data or settlement error.

Free and paid contests

Free contests use play-money balances with no cash value. Paid contests, where offered, charge the posted entry fee (in USDC) and pay prizes from the posted prize table. Deposits and withdrawals are processed on the supported networks only; sending funds from or to an unsupported network or address may result in permanent loss. You are responsible for the accuracy of any withdrawal address you provide and for any taxes on your winnings.

Eligibility and fair play

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction and legally permitted to play skill games with prizes there. One account per person. Automated entry, scripted scraping, exploiting bugs, colluding across accounts, or interfering with the service is prohibited and may result in voided entries, forfeited prizes and account closure. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Not investment advice

TacTic500 is a game. Nothing on this site is investment advice, a solicitation to trade securities, or an offer of any financial instrument. No real securities are bought or sold through the product.

Service

The service is provided "as is". Market data can be delayed or contain errors; where official prices are unavailable, contest rules govern voiding and refunds. We may change or discontinue features, and will apply changes to these terms prospectively - the date above reflects the current revision. Our liability to you is limited to the entry fees you paid for the affected contest.
